Your pet.
In expert hands.

Professional pet care in St Albans, from a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years of clinical experience.

Not just a pet sitter. A vet nurse.

The qualification that changes everything about how your pet is cared for.

RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

RCVS registration is a regulated professional credential. I have met the standards required to practise as a veterinary nurse and I am listed on the public RCVS register. You can verify it yourself here.

10+ Years Experience

A decade of clinical work alongside vets — post-operative care, medication administration, patient monitoring. That experience means Hannah knows what to look for, every time she visits your pet.

Fully Insured & DBS Checked

Public liability and professional indemnity insurance, plus a current DBS check. The same standard you'd expect from any healthcare professional working in your home.

Hi, I'm Hannah.

I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse and I started Vet nurse Visits because I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with a pet you love.

What makes me different is simple: I'm not just an animal lover. I'm clinically trained. When I visit your pet, I'm watching their health — not just keeping them company. Based in St Albans, I cover a 10-mile radius and tailor every care plan around your pet's specific needs.

More than a standard carer.

A clinical eye, every visit

I notice things a standard carer would miss. Things like subtle changes in appetite, movement, behaviour, or breathing that could be early signs of something more serious. Your pet gets genuine health monitoring, every single time.

Medication, handled safely

Finding a carer who can confidently administer prescribed medications is genuinely hard. I do it as part of my daily professional practice so you don't have to worry about it.

Fully verified

RCVS registered (no. 7146361), fully DBS checked, and fully insured. Every qualification is publicly verifiable. You don't have to take my word for it.

A photo update after every visit

You'll never wonder how your pet is doing. I send a photo and update after every single visit, and I'll contact you immediately if anything concerns me.

Frequently asked questions

A Drop-In is for pets who are generally healthy and just need someone to check in, feed them, and keep them company while you're out or away. A Wellness Check is for older pets, pets on long-term medication, or pets with health conditions who need more than a routine visit — including a proper clinical assessment each time. Not sure which applies? Get in touch and I'll help you work it out.

This is where my background makes a real difference. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I can assess whether something needs urgent attention, contact you immediately with a clear picture of what's happening, and take appropriate steps while you're informed every step of the way. I won't panic and I won't guess.

Always. I never take on a new pet without meeting them and their owner first. The initial consultation is free, it's no-commitment, and it's how I make sure I understand exactly what your pet needs.

I'm based in St. Albans and cover a 10-mile radius. If you're not sure whether that includes you, just ask.

My role is to monitor, care for, and flag — not to diagnose or treat. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I'm trained to recognise the signs that warrant a vet's attention, and I'll always tell you clearly and promptly if I think that's the case.

I can administer medications your vet has already prescribed, observe and report changes in your pet's condition, and give you an informed picture of how they're doing. What I won't do is attempt to diagnose conditions or make treatment decisions; that's what your vet is for, and I'll always defer to them.

What this means in practice: you get a trained clinical eye on your pet at every visit, with someone who knows exactly when to escalate — and who won't hesitate to do so. I'd rather contact you and your vet unnecessarily than miss something that matters.
